What data AZLens collects, why, and how it's handled.

AZLens is a tool for YouTube creators. This policy explains what data we handle when you use it.
Account data — when you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile picture through Firebase Authentication.
YouTube data you authorize — with your consent through Google, we access your channel and video statistics and analytics (for example views, subscribers, watch time, and video metadata) to power your dashboard and reports.
Content you enter — keywords, topics, tracked channels, and messages you send to AI features.
Usage data — your subscription tier and AI credit balance, so we can meter AI features.
To provide the Service: show your analytics, run keyword and competitor research, generate AI ideas and insights, and meter usage. We don't sell your personal data.
When you use an AI feature, the relevant data on the page (such as your channel stats, your watchlist, or the text you enter) is sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, to generate the response. AI features are designed to reason over your real figures and are instructed never to fabricate analytics numbers.
Account data, tracked channels, and AI chat history are stored in Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore). Some preferences and your most recent keyword/niche activity are cached locally in your browser to improve the experience.
We rely on Google (Firebase Authentication and Firestore; YouTube Data and Analytics APIs) and Anthropic (AI processing). Your use of YouTube data through AZLens is also covered by the Google Privacy Policy.
You can remove tracked channels and clear your AI chat history in the app at any time. You can revoke AZLens's access to your Google account from your Google security settings. To request deletion of your account data, contact us.
We use Google's infrastructure and per-user security rules so that your data is only accessible to you. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect it.
AZLens isn't directed to children and is intended for users old enough to hold a Google/YouTube account and manage a channel.
We may update this policy; material changes will be posted here with a new "last updated" date.
